The world's leading aluminum trade fair ALUMINIUM will open its doors in Düsseldorf, Germany, from October 8-10, 2024. thyssenkrupp Schulte and thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe are pleased to present their comprehensive solutions, services and products at this international event. The subsidiaries of thyssenkrupp Materials Services are placing a clear focus on sustainability. For example, thyssenkrupp Schulte is able to provide its customers with CO2-reduced alternatives to conventional materials at short notice for all aluminum materials. The key to this is a PCF certificate based on the best data quality, which can be used to verify the CO2 footprint “from cradle to gate” for every aluminum product, i.e. from raw material extraction to the factory gate. In this way, the company is meeting an important need of its customers: In particular, the ability to determine the ecological footprint of their own products will become increasingly relevant for the metal processing industry in the future.
In a strategic step to further develop the thyssenkrupp Materials Services segment, thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe is taking over the 2A business from thyssenkrupp Stahlkontor as of October 1, 2024. This move is aimed at achieving greater efficiency for the entire segment through synergy effects.
thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe, a specialist in the service center sector, already trades in declassified cold-rolled strip and surface-coated material. By expanding its product portfolio to include declassified hot-rolled strip, the company will be able to offer its customers an even more comprehensive range from a single source. thyssenkrupp Stahlkontor will continue its other business activities unchanged.
